We happily accept provisional reservations by email to byrne@colonsay.eu OR colonsaybyrne[AT]gmail[DOT]com and will respond quickly. If everything suits, we will send you a letter confirming the provisional reservation, and mark it into the charts below (with your initials). We will ask you to confirm with a 25% deposit and the balance is payable one month prior to arrival.
These charts for 2025 were last updated on 4th November 2025. Our tariff for 2025 is also a guide to future years if you allow for inflation, please see booking charts for 2026 and 2027 or even 2028 to assess the most popular weeks when demand might make early reservations especially advisable.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: In order to keep charges as low as possible, we can only accept weekly reservations or multiples thereof, and we offer a discount of 10% on the entire rental for two weeks or more in April through September. From October through March we offer a very attractive sabbatical rate; as a guide, in the winter 2024/5 it is £660, £815 and £900 for two, three or four weeks. Reservations for Longfield run Friday to Friday, and for Cill a' Rubha from Wednesday to Wednesday.
DISCOUNTS: We offer 10% discount on two weeks or more, applicable to the entire reservation. Tariff varies by month and is calculated pro-rata for each night where a stay runs across into a second month. All reservations are provisional until confirmed by payment of a deposit, but please do advise us right away if you find that things have changed and you need to cancel.
FERRIES: These are operated by CalMac and operate daily from Oban to Colonsay (passage 2hrs 15 mins) and there is an additional service from Kennacraig via Port Askaig on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Search for "CalMac Timetables", select Summer or Winter and choose Southern Hebrides to see the timetable.
